Many schools will accept non degree holders, but you should at least have finished high school or have a diploma.

You will need to be able to take care of yourself until you get your first salary. Accommodation can cost anything from 3500 Baht up, depending on what you are looking for. A meal can cost you 40 baht up depending where you eat, if you eat local, you eat cheap, if you eat international, expect to pay up to 4 times that price per meal. Transport differs as well, you can hire a scooter for 2500 baht per month or use public transport. Using this guideline, you should be able to work out a budget.

Depending on your school, but most of the time you will have more than one class to teach.

Government schools can have 30-40 students in a class and private schools will normally have fewer students in a class as they can afford more teachers.

Formal clothes. Some schools will only allow girls to wear skirts (below the knee), less strict schools will be okay with pants. Closed shoes and your shoulders should be covered. Men need to wear long pants, closed shoes and long/ short sleeved shirts, not many schools require you to wear ties.

You will get paid either by cash, via your bank account or by your school. Payments will be maid anytime between the 28th of the end of the month to the 2nd of the new month.
